fcnk. offer training on all aspects of media production including preproduction and conceptualisation, production planning, shooting, editing and delivery.
As a passionate film maker Oli is keen to share his knowledge of both the broadcast and non-broadcast aspects of media work with the next generation of artists and media creators. His unique mix of experience in both the cut-throat world of factual TV production and in the more esoteric world of art practitioners gives him an insight into all aspects of the constantly changing world of film-making in the 21st century.
Oli is currently delivering two courses at BCU Birmingham Conservatoire. One on the basics of Video Production (covering Idea development, shooting and editing) for composers and a course on creating production music that really has impact, and one on the basics of documenting art performance including shooting, editing and delivery.
Other courses offered by fcnk. have included 1 day practical sessions on shooting and editing digital stories on an iPad for business educators.
Over his 25 year career Oli has mentored numerous individuals, helping them achieve their potential as media creators and film-makers.
